A spectacular 1920s handmade gown, beautifully constructed with hand stitching throughout. The silk features the most vibrant floral print, and for a dress approaching 100 years old, it remains in beautiful vintage condition.

The details are incredible, including a gorgeous keyhole back with buttons at the neckline, a waist tie, and a beautiful asymmetrical hemline that gives the gown such an elegant silhouette.

As expected with a garment of this age, there are a few small flaws, none of which detract from how beautifully the dress presents when worn.

There is some very faint yellowing on the back of the bodice and underarm area, which I have tried to capture in photos. It is subtle and difficult to notice.

There was a very small area of silk shattering at the left underarm, approximately 1/4 inch in size. I carefully reinforced the area from behind with fabric and fabric adhesive to help prevent further shattering. The repair is smaller than a dime and is not noticeable when worn.

There is also one tiny blue spot on the shoulder, approximately the size of a large pin dot. It may be an original variation in the fabric or a small color spot.

Overall, an exceptionally beautiful and wearable 1920s gown with remarkable color and presence for its age.
